Ithaca, Michigan, May 16, 2018 – Aircraft Precision Products, Inc. (APPI) has been approved by Pratt & Whitney to become an official supplier of high precision gas turbine engine components for the company. The approval culminates almost five years of intensive and thorough review by Pratt & Whitney.
Along with supplier approval, APPI has completed a concurrent engineering process, working with Pratt & Whitney to finalize the design on components for a new generation engine being developed for military applications. These parts were delivered ahead of schedule.

APPI has long been an approved supplier to General Electric Aircraft Engines, which supplies the majority of its business. Adding Pratt & Whitney as a customer helps the company’s on-going customer diversification efforts.
